fat-tomato-bloody-mary-salt
Fat Tomato Bloody Mary Salt

Fat Tomato Bloody Mary Salt began as a single sip in Chelsea Market, 2023. A cocktail rimmed with savoury tomato, herbs and citrus caught the attention of Anthony, founder of Fat Tomato, sparking a mission to recreate that moment back home in Wexford. What emerged, however, transcends the cocktail glass entirely—a versatile seasoning built on layers of flavour that belong in any thoughtful kitchen.

The blend combines Achill Island and Wexford sea salts for mineral brightness and natural crunch, joined by dillisk seaweed that adds a subtle maritime character. Wild alexander seeds, lovage and heritage tomatoes weave through, delivering herbal warmth and the deep umami richness that makes even the simplest dishes sing. A small pinch goes remarkably far.

This is seasoning for curious cooks. Scatter it over roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables, dust it across fried eggs or grilled corn, finish hot popcorn for an addictive savoury hit. It complements shellfish and white fish with equal grace, stirs into dressings, and still performs beautifully rimming a cocktail glass. The possibilities expand with each use.

Anthony's long-standing passion for salt—collected from across Ireland and beyond—has shaped something distinctively Irish yet globally inspired. This small-batch blend draws thoughtfully from garden and coast, honouring both heritage and creativity.

Presented in a 40g glass jar with natural cork, this Gift Box Edition arrives wrapped in illustrated paper that celebrates the Wexford food story, finished in our signature black box. A gift that speaks to those who understand that seasoning is as much about character as flavour.

40g
